How do I register for a season?
Registration is done online through the Rise Up League website. Click Sign Up in the top navigation to create your account and register as a free agent or team captain.
What divisions are available?
We offer four competitive divisions based on skill level: Rookie, Pro, Allstar, and Hall of Fame. Each division plays on a designated night of the week. When registering, select the division that best fits your team's level.
What cities do you operate in?
Rise Up League currently operates in Brampton, Burlington, Markham, Mississauga, and Vaughan. Each city runs its own divisions with local gym facilities.
How does the payment plan work?
We offer installment payment options so you don't need to pay the full season fee upfront. Payments are due on a set schedule — players with missed payments are not eligible to play until the outstanding balance is cleared. After Week 4, all balances must be paid in full.
What do I need to wear?
All players must wear the full team uniform — both top and bottom. Players without the complete uniform will not be eligible to play and will be subject to a $25 fine before being allowed on the court.
Can I play as a free agent?
Yes! Free agents are placed onto teams by the commissioner based on skill level and division. Registering as a free agent is a great way to join the league if you don't have a full team.
How many players are on a roster?
Teams require a minimum of five (5) players to start a game. We recommend registering 8–10 players per team to account for scheduling conflicts and injuries.
How many regular season games will we play?
The number of regular season games depends on how many teams register in your division. Teams play each other once during the regular season, so the final game count is determined by how many teams sign up. We cannot confirm the exact number until registration closes for that division. All registered teams participate in the end-of-season playoffs regardless of the regular season game count.
Are playoffs included in the season?
Yes, all registered teams participate in the end-of-season playoffs. Players must have appeared in at least two (2) regular season games to be eligible to play in the playoffs.
What happens if our team forfeits a game?
Teams that cannot field five players will default the game and be fined $80. Failure to pay the default fee will prevent the team from playing future games until the fee is settled.
How do I report a stats error?
Stats are recorded by our scorekeepers and reviewed after each game. To dispute a stat, contact the commissioner within 48 hours of the game. Note that YouTube/video footage cannot be used to overturn official scorebook stats.
